Dr. Kasandrea Sereno is Dean of Retention & Engagement at Tulsa Community College, where she leads institution-wide efforts to improve student access, retention, and completion. She oversees integrated student service units including advising, testing, career services, and orientation, aligning teams around data-driven strategies as part of the Aspen Institute’s Unlocking Opportunity initiative. Her work focuses on aligning people, process, and technology to modernize student services, scale support systems, and improve the end-user experience. Under her leadership, TCC has seen measurable gains in enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. 

She is also the founder of Higher Ed Social, a global professional community of more than 13,000 higher education marketers across 80 countries, where she bridges institutional leadership with digital strategy and brand development. 

Dr. Sereno speaks nationally on student retention, digital transformation, and organizational change in higher education.
