Dr. David E. Arellano is a higher education leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing student access, opportunity, enrollment, persistence, completion, and post-completion outcomes. He currently serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Services and Onboarding at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona.

In this role, Dr. Arellano provides strategic leadership for enrollment, advising, financial aid and scholarships, international education, military and veterans services, and student success initiatives. Throughout his career, he has led transformative efforts to modernize student services, expand access and opportunity for underserved learners, strengthen institutional effectiveness, and implement innovative technologies that improve the student experience. As a first-generation community college graduate, he is committed to collaborative leadership and creating pathways that help community college learners achieve their educational and career goals.
