Curt Oldfield is the president of Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) in Springfield, IL. He previously served as President of Spoon River College (SRC) from July 2012 until 2026. Prior to his selection as SRC’s president, Dr. Oldfield served as Vice President of Academic Affairs for Northeast Iowa Community College. Dr. Oldfield is a first-generation college student and a proud Spoon River College alumnus. During his tenure at SRC, Curt focused on improving graduation and retention rates for full-time and part-time students, increasing the number of relevant academic programs, strengthening internal communication, expanding external partnerships and community development, enhancing continuous improvement processes, and developing a sense of belonging for all employees and students. He now brings that same focus to LLCC as he leads the college through its next chapter of strategic growth.
