Circa forty in number, HERDI South advisory board members are selected from the eleven Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC) states, from Florida to Virginia over to Texas. HERDI South meets virtually throughout the year, and holds an in-person session each December.

They form the Higher Education Research and Development Institute South Advisory Board. Board members are empaneled for each three-hour encounter with a business client executive team.
