Todd Hernandez is a 1989 graduate of Napoleon High School. He has an electrical engineering undergraduate degree, a master’s of information systems and is currently writing his doctoral study on the use of IoT devices in manufacturing environments. Todd served as a Nuclear-trained Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy for 8 years. He returned to Northwest Ohio in 1999 and was employed as an Electrical Project Engineer and eventually Vice President for Product Development at Automatic Feed Company in Napoleon, Ohio. He joined the Northwest State team in 2010 and has served as Training Coordinator, Chief Information Officer, Vice President for Innovation, Executive Vice President and is currently the President and CEO. He has a strong commitment to helping people and strengthening community and feels very grateful to be at Northwest State Community College.
