Qiana Clemens offers a unique perspective and brings nearly 20 years of nonprofit leadership and experience to her profession. She currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Academic and Resource Development at Ivy Tech Community College, a role she loves but never envisioned. She also serves as the Diversity Lead for the Ivy Tech Foundation. She has served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie, the Executive Director of the Roy C. Buley Community Center, and the Director of Marketing and Communications at the United Way of Delaware County and the YMCA of Muncie. Qiana is a graduate of Ball State University (BS) and Indiana Wesleyan University (MA). In 2020, Qiana became a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) and she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in strategic leadership for higher education at Liberty University with an anticipated completion date in May 2025. Qiana serves on the Muncie Fire Merit Commission, the board of Directors at Hillcroft Services, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie Marketing & Development Committee. Qiana is a member of the Whitely Community Council, Muncie Chapter of the NAACP, Indiana Black Expo, Muncie – Delaware County Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Qiana, her husband Duane, and their two sons are very proud life-long residents of Muncie, IN.
