Dr. Gullickson has worked in higher education for more than 40 years, serving in all sectors in several states as a faculty member, director, vice president, provost and president. While in her current position and in spite of national trends, her college has grown in enrollment every term for the last three years. She attributes the college’s success to internal teams willing to compete and win through disruptive innovations. She has an undergraduate degree in sociology and psychology from University of South Dakota, a master of science degree in rural sociology and planning from South Dakota State University and a doctorate of education in leadership and higher education policy from the University of Minnesota.
