Dr. Kimberly DeLauro is an experienced educational leader, having served in leadership roles at San Jacinto College for the last 6 years. She holds a BA in English Literature from Colorado State University, an MA in Humanities, Aesthetic Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, and an Ed.D. at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She began her career at San Jacinto College as an English Professor on the Central Campus in 2007 and then shifted to leadership in 2014 by serving as the Department Chair of English, Modern Languages, and Speech on the South campus. She now holds the position of Dean of Liberal Arts on the South Campus. Kimberly and her husband, Andrew, live in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX and have five young-adult children.
