President

Tarrant County College - South Campus

Dr. Dan Lufkin currently serves as President of Tarrant County College’s (TCC) South campus. Having worked his way from an elementary school teacher, a higher education instructor, and a Student Affairs Administrator to a college president, Dan focuses on advocating for quality instruction and student access. Supporting a six-campus district, Dr. Lufkin has both a college-wide and an individual campus focus. In support of TCC’s One College goal, Dr. Lufkin is currently leading district-wide, data informed, recruitment, retention, and completion work to help the Tarrant County community close the workforce gaps and disparities through his alignment with the college vision: academic excellence, economic impact, civic responsibility, and personal enrichment. Additionally, Dan has invested in hearing and responding to the needs of South Campus by supporting the whole campus community in work on four key priorities articulated by the faculty and staff: Belonging & Engagement, Professional Growth, Community & Team Ready Facilities, and Robust Marketing to build a culture of belonging.
