With nineteen years of experience in higher education, Melissa Schultz is a visionary leader who is dedicated to driving student success. Currently serving as the Chief Student Enrollment Officer at Schoolcraft College, Melissa has also held previous roles as the Associate Dean of Retention and Student Success, and Dean of Students. She has a track record of creating a culture of continuous improvement and driving enrollment using the Strategic Enrollment Management framework. She is passionate about demystifying data, tracking, and measuring outcomes, and leveraging technology to innovate and optimize the student experience. Melissa holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in community college leadership from Ferris State University, with an expected completion date in 2025.
