Tracie S. Clark began her career at Central Piedmont Community College in 2000 as a member of the faculty and currently serves as the College’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Organizational Excellence. Dr. Clark has also served the college as Special Assistant to the President and through participation in various committees with emphases on academic advising and awareness; institutional research and effectiveness; faculty and staff development; and college policies. In her current role, Dr. Clark supports the College mission by leading the strategic planning, institutional research, accreditation, compliance and audit, and grants teams. She has published articles and a book chapter on supporting adult student success and is a 2021 Aspen Rising Presidents Fellow. Dr. Clark holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in English from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Maryland – College Park, and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte.
